Verity Scott trained as a Chef at UCB and then specialised in Bakery. Since then she has attended many courses at Blue Door Bakery whose forte is cakes.
Verity also studied at Squires International Cookery School under established professionals such as Ceri Griffiths, Alan Dunn, Paddi Clark and Makiko Searle for Sugarcraft, Mark Tilling for Chocolate and French Pâtisserie and Jan Clement-May and Ann Skipp for Cake Decorating and Modelling.
Verity has also worked in Michelin Star restaurants amongst other establishments. She now has her own company – Nu Bakes.
